Serves as the key decision-making body providing
infrastructure for planning, development, and problem solving and assures
appropriate administrative and operational oversite at the local level for
all implementation activities.

- To create a shared vision built around processes and adaptations
necessary to implement Louisiana Integrated Treatment Services.
- Identify service, administrative and policy gaps and either address
regionally, or if needed, referred up the system to be resolved by the
Behavioral Healthcare Taskforce.
- To address such issues as training needs, modifications of all
clinical/counselor staff job descriptions to incorporate responsibility
for providing integrated treatment, interagency support and training of
supervisory staff, ongoing mechanisms for quality assurance, for
resolving clinical issues, and utilization of all staff resources needed
to provide integrated treatment.
