Description:
MHSD's operations post-Katrina have been badly disrupted in terms of physical space. Services have been co-located in the three clinics that have re-opened to date. This co-location of services is not yet truly integrated services, which have been planned for some time and aided by COSIG. This group is focused on the barriers to true integration as well as the tasks necessary to provide truly integrated services in a welcoming environment for all people served by MHSD, including those with multiple diagnoses that might lead them to seek services in the areas of mental health, addictive disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
